Garindan w/ Hold Out Blaster
Everybody likes a mysterious character perhaps that is why the collector response for Garindan was so good. Another contributing factor to the popularity of this figure is that he was not made in the original 1977 line. Regardless of the reason this figure is a stand-out he comes with a sleek looking little blaster and a silver com link molded onto his right hand. A vinyl cape is also included, very nice. GRADE:10
Ponda Boba w/ Blasters
This is a nice figure, he has a nifty orange vest and big pink lips, just like in the movie. An immense improvement over the original who who had a purple suit and an orange head. Very nice and authentic. GRADE:9.7
Weequay w/ Blaster and Staff
This guy is very mean looking, he has the dirty black dreadlocks and the paint job is superb. He has green and gold armor covering up a white shirt. The staff looks pretty neat too. He's not a huge improvement over the original but good enough. GRADE:8.7
Grand Moff Tarkin w/ Pistol & Imperial Blaster
By far the best figure in the assortment. He has the sunk in cheeks just like Peter Cushing! His uniform is pretty spiffy and it has the colored rectangles signifying rank on the left side of his chest. He came with a slight variation it was that one had gray hair and the other had silver. The pistol is nice. GRADE:10
Rebel Fleet Trooper w/Blaster & Rifle
He is classified as one of the best or worst figures in the wave.He has good sculpting and detail,but he's huge.He is only a few inches taller than Luke, yet the figure would be scaled at least a foot taller than Luke.There was a rumored variation that his paints were the regular tan or a rare gray.Those rumors have been long since been put to rest. GRADE:8.5
Admiral Ackbar w/Comlink Blaster
The famous Mon Calamari comes alive in this figure.He is detailed right down to his insignia.His head looks cool.His weapon is unusual,yet different than the abundant Han blasters & Stormtrooper rifles,which is an advantage to this figure.In other words, he's AWESOME!GRADE:10
Dengar w/Heavy Rifle & Blaster
This figure had potential to be the best one in the wave. His sculpting was done good. The main problem with him is that his paintjob doesn't really catch your eyes. It's just sort of a dull color. He's a good figure, but not the best.GRADE:8.0
4-LOM w/Heavy Rifle & Blaster
This had been a figure we had been waiting for. He is dedtailed a lot better than the original with all the rust on his body. His arms are shaped like C-3PO's. Also, this time Kenner got the name right on the card. GRADE:8.5
ASP-7 w/Spaceport Rods
He is probably the most unique figure in the line. He is shaped different and his torso doesn't twist. His head can twist 360 degrees. His face plate also comes off. We think he looks cool for being made for the first time.GRADE:9.0
