In 1995,Kenner released Star Wars POTF2 figures. They were the first Star Wars figures released since 1985.At first,it seemed like a risk for Kenner to release them.Some of the early figures like Luke were too built up,especially in the chest area.However,as time went on,these figures became one of (if not the)most popular action figure lines in the world. Many have become instant collectables.
